Greeting of Peace,
As a newly established organization, the Wisconsin Muslim Civic Alliance (WMCA) has worked diligently to establish itself as the Islamic voice of Political Education, Empowerment, and Engagement. Over the past year, the WMCA has brought together Mosques, civic groups, community leaders, faith-based organizations, politicians, expert educators, and first-time voters together in forming an alliance for political action.
With the Help of Allah (S) and despite the Pandemic, WMCA responded to the call by galvanizing the Muslim community to get out and vote. Alhamdulillah, as a result, we can see the results of our efforts: from the President of the United States to the Governor's office to the Mayor of the City of Milwaukee to local school boards. Muslims have established political strength in collaborating with our non-Muslim neighbor's, demonstrating that when you stay with your principles and values, success is the by-product.
I'm especially honored to have had the privilege of working with some amazing staff and volunteers. Without their tireless contributions to our accomplishments, our success would not have been possible.
Our work is just beginning.
